| Traction vehicle repairs, overhauls | ||

All home market specific electric and diesel-electric Locomotives arerepaired and overhauled in the Company owned Main Repair Centre. During the last couple of years remotorization and modernization projects were completed involving more than 100 – 100 diesel-electric and electric Locos. In each case a driver’s cab modernization subproject was applied as well. With such extensive job the lifetime of a renewed Loco can be lengthened by another 20-25 years. | Rail passenger car repairs, state authority tests and modernization | ||

Passenger coaches are inspected in the maintenance workshops, includingsmall repairs. However after performing a running interval of 0,6 – 1,2 million km (or two – four years) the passenger cars are extensively reconditioned and prepared for authority test in the Main Repair Centre. In certain cases units are upgraded with newly installed A/C, elements installation for onboard services and / or improve passenger comfort by changing to closed-circle WC. More… | |

| Bogie repairs and reconditioning | ||

Reconditioning of the entire unit includes a total dismounting, areplacement of the wheel set, machine cut the bogie frameworks, align the operating parameters and mount together the remanufactured elements. | |
| Manufacture components & parts | ||

During the repairs and overhauls some parts and components are notpurchasable from normal commercial channels. Therefore, these parts must be acquired from local self production. | |
| Rail Roadside Assistance | ||

This involves hoisting-towing-rescuing rail units, material lots,hazardous, poisonous liquids, etc., due to an accident or failure alongside the railroad. | |
Production of metal frames, lease work of machine cutjobs
Many elements of an overhaul expect to have self owned machines,instruments, other equipments in order to complete with quality such extensive jobs. Company owns these machines and intends to reach to the highest utilization level of them. Extra capacities are regularly sold out to other companies.
